Helen Sugland is executive producer of Disney Branded Television’s
“Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur,” based on Marvel’s hit
comic books.

In addition to this series, Sugland produces the Peabody Award-winning
and Emmy® Award-nominated hit series “black-ish,” as well as the
hit spinoff series “grown-ish.”

Sugland, along with her long-time management client Laurence
Fishburne, founded Cinema Gypsy Productions with an eye toward
developing projects that highlight cultural, racial and gender
diversity issues. They have produced numerous nominated and
award-winning projects, cumulatively in over 30 awards, including the
Emmy Award-winning “The Snowy Day,” “Thurgood,” “Madiba,”
“Bronzeville,” “Five Fingers,” “Akeelah and the Bee,”
“Once in the Life, ” “Always Outnumbered,” “Hoodlum” and
“Miss Evers’ Boys.”

She began her professional career trying to balance life between her
two greatest passions: entertainment and teaching. After some trial
and error, Sugland discovered a way to merge those two worlds, and her
talent management career was born. She is currently the owner of
Landmark Artists Management and has represented such notable actors as
Eric Stoltz, Larenz Tate, Ally Sheedy, Diane Ladd, Tommy Ford and
Heavy D.
